We are Aspire North East, a Multi Academy Trust providing life-changing education and opportunities for schools in the North East of England. Founded in 2015 and previously known as Southmoor Multi Academy Trust, we have rebranded to focus on an ambitious future for the children in our region.

Our vision goes beyond our own Trust. We want to contribute to the broader regeneration of our region by empowering our students to have high aspirations, achieve excellent outcomes and enjoy their education to the fullest to inspire a life-long love of learning.
High Quality & Inclusive Education
All academies in Aspire North East are relentlessly focussed on delivering high quality education for every child, including disadvantaged children and children with SEND. Our curriculum is centred around positive relationships with the ambition that every child will ‘Know more, Do more and Go further.’ Each academy’s leadership team takes an active role in our School Improvement Teams, offering professional support and challenge to ensure strong school leadership and a highly effective approach to teaching, based on evidence-based curriculum design and implementation.
